While browsing the aisle, I found something called "Wall Quotes." There are several different quotes to choose from (most of them were a bit too sappy for me..). These quotes are removable vinyl transfer letters that are already laid out and ready to be applied to your wall. All you have to do is position, rub with the included tool and peel off the paper!
I remembered seeing something similar during the holidays on one of the HGTV holiday specials and liking the idea. For less than $20.00 I could give it a try!
As you enter the house, there is a small portion of wall that we had placed a wire card holder we found at Ikea. (actually, I think it's for very light curtains... but we used it to display some of our holiday cards, and I've used it for a shopping bag display) I thought I would just hang a few pictures with the quote above. I may end up just framing pictures in a nice arrangement instead.. we'll see how it works!

What a great design element, Kenn! I have seen where you can project sayings unto the wall and then trace and then paint the sayings, but this is so much easier and faster. Looks great!
I'm with you - I like Target and always come out with so much more than what I went in there for!
I love that saying, and it looks great on the wall. I have some Valentine's love ones that I should send to you so you can use them next year.
Great pictures!
Love it! Leave it to Target, they come up with everything new, trendy, and wonderful. If only Kmart.... love the pictures too! You should send this photo to MSL - it's a nice "hallway" treatment that they would probably love to see!
This looks beautiful. I saw a catalog recently from a company called Uppercase Living that had a ton of these vinyl wall quotes that looked very classy. I was thining of buying some from their catalog -- it looks like they are actually painted on your wall.

Where I live the Target does not have them anymore. I have been searching the web for hours. Do you remember who made the wall quotes? So I can try to find it one the web.
My Target doesn't have the Wall Quotes either -- but I went to the Uppercase Living website (www.uppercaseliving.com) that was mentioned by someone on this blog and fell in LOVE with their vinyl lettering! I ordered a catalog from one of their demonstrators and can't wait to purchase some of their sayings. You can actually view the Uppercase Living catalog online at their site - it has a ton of cute sayings to choose from -- THANK YOU for leading me to this site, even if it was indirectly!!!!!!

I too was looking for wall quotes - I found that there are many on e-bay and very very inexpensive for ones larger then in Target or KOHL'S and I had designed my own with a seller on ebay - it came out awesome. Only cost me 13.00
Keep up the good work.
