Martha to Appear on "The Next Food Network Star"

Food Networks reality series "The Next Food Network Star" is having record breaking ratings this year. With an diverse and interesting group of contestants, the Food Network has taken the competition to new heights this year.

On Sunday, June 15 Martha Stewart will be joining the panel as a guest judge. From the previews shown during the show last night, the challenge set for the contestants will be to create a packaged food item (ala Kirkland Signature?). In the preview, we see Martha in a deadpan stare say to one of the contestants, "I don't eat food like that..." It makes you wonder what happened!

The Next Food Network Star, now in it's third season takes potential stars through a series of food related challenges designed to demonstrate their ability to not only prepare; but create and present delicious food that reflects their philosophy of cooking. The challenges also give insight into contestants attitudes, ability to handle pressure, and camera star quality.
