Who doesn't love chocolate cake? Especially an old fashioned chocolate cake! I had a craving for a delicious chocolate cake. My friend Chris refers to this 'look' as 'Grandma's chocolate cake.' Okay, well I guess I frost cakes like Grandma because it looks like the cakes I do. I haven't advanced to the piped icing yet.
ReplyDeleteThat looks so good, it looks fake! Actually, I could pull it out of my 1950 Betty Crocker Cookbook (it's a perfect match). My favorite type of "icing style". Very old fashioned and delicious!
ReplyDeleteIf I wasn't allergic to chocolate, I would eat that entire cake!!! I'll take a small piece anyway (Yes, despite my allergy I STILL eat chocolate now and then!) YUMMY!! ;-)
